Pirates release Matt Gorski – MLB Trade Rumors

Pirates release outfielder Matt Gorskiaccording to MLB.com transaction tracker. Pittsburgh designated him as a mission last week, opening a roster of 40 people for rescuers Yohan Ramírez.
Gorski has been on the triple A injury list since late May. The injured player cannot give up completely. Once Pittsburgh designated him as a mission, it was inevitably released. Assuming Gorski clears the release saving throw, Bucs can try to bring him back to the minor league contract. However, he has the right to seek other opportunities as a free agent.
The right hit Gorski was the former second round draft pick. He has strength and speed, but has met consistent connections throughout his minor league career. Indiana products started a hot start this year with Triple-A Indianapolis. Pittsburgh called him in late April.
