£40 million ‘monster’ wants to join Liverpool

Although Liverpool has performed well in the summer transfer window, more parts may be needed if Arne leads his team to glory again next season.
Anfield side won the Premier League last season after Jurgen Klopp resigned from his iconic post. No one thought the relatively unknown coach from Feyenoord could bear the weight of the legendary departure, but Slot proved himself the perfect figure to lead the club, advocating for virtues rooted in so deep soil in the Merseyside Mountains.
He paid off in the transfer market. FSG smashed Liverpool’s transfer record and signed the initial £100 million figure with Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz, which could increase to a UK record of £16 million.
During Liverpool’s emotional pre-season tour with Preston North, Slot also teamed up with Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez to have a new defender pairing.
However, the Liverpool coach will likely feel that his defender is still missing something, and Merseyside partying with interest in the new centre-back.
Liverpool searches for the latest information about defenders
Back in May, the Liverpool leader signed 20-year-old Dean Huijsen after a spectacular Premier League breakthrough with Bournemouth.
The problem is that most high-profile clubs across the continent want Spanish International, which is the list that includes Real Madrid, which did win the game after activating his £50m offering clause.
This itself doesn’t hurt Liverpool’s career, but now that Jarell Quansah has completed a £35m transfer to Bayer Leverkusen, it feels important that Reds continue to move forward and sign up for the replacement.
Well, FSG has one in mind.
According to a report published by the Mirror, Liverpool is preparing to bid for £40 million from Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi, hoping to take advantage of the players’ contract status to enter the final year of Selhurst Park.
Guehi is understood to be inclined to move to Anfield at Arsenal and Newcastle, although he wants guaranteed during game time.
Given that the 25-year-old England International is willing to lower his contract amid push push, it could be a subtle situation, and there is no doubt that there is limited defensive plan for the upcoming campaign.
Why Liverpool Want Marc Guehi
Guehi is a powerful and reliable defender who has built over the years at Crystal Palace, joining a £18m deal from Chelsea four years ago.
His mellow technical quality and deceptive aggression show that he will be perfect for this Goofy Liverpool side and given his two-handedness and leadership, he might even be the one who succeeds Virgil van Dijk.
Van Dijk was one of the greatest defenders of his generation and played a role in the establishment of the Klopp dynasty of Liverpool. It’s a daunting idea to replace him for any position companion, but Guehi has everything he needs and is praised by journalist Bobby Manzi as a “monster on defense.”
Guehi spent several years honing his skills in the Premier League and now he is ready to take his leap to the highest level. Van Dijk did something similar.
But, in fact, it can be said that Guehi is more accomplished than Captain Liverpool in Southampton’s era. After all, Guehi took the Eagles to lead their incredible FA Cup title, beating Manchester City in May at Wembley’s final.
But looking at their respective performances over the past semesters in the Premier League, it’s clear that Guy still has one or two levels of expansion before claiming to be on the same pitch as Van Dijk.

But, no doubt, the seed is there, and the two seasons next to the legend can prove that he can sharpen his tools to the sharpest edge, thus making him a Merseyside superstar.
The palace people are technically reasonable and creative. Additionally, he will imitate Van Dijk from a division rival under the ladder, with the Dutch captain joining Klopp’s career from Southampton in January 2018 for a fee of £75m – the defender at the time won the world record.
In fact, Guehi’s ball-kicking game is almost underrated because he is not guaranteed by JSUT, but is excellent in his passes and moves, which makes it happen when he calmly collects and picks forward teammates, whether it’s through sweeping passes, or through dragging, layoffs on the field and on the field and making tolerant layoffs.
According to FBREF, Chelsea’s outlook accounts for 12% of the top five European leagues in the past year, which is 2% of the shooting created by the ball, indicating the quality of the Van Dijk style, which is very useful for Slot.
Creating a shooting action is the game that leads to a shot. These include moments like passes, takeovers or fouls.
But the small home is important to analytical awareness like Michael Edwards. Analyst Ben Mattinson is described as “Guehi is described as “one of those versatile centre-backs who can play both sides equally comfortably”, and his tendency to the left can only provide arguments for his new version of Van Dijk.
Van Dijk is irreplaceable, but in Guehi, Liverpool may have just signed the closest replacement. He is energetic, aggressive and commanding, embodying the qualities required by Anfield superstar center.
