As the season ended, the Kings held an exit interview with the media on Thursday. All-star PF Domantas Sabonis talked to reporters and made some interesting comments. Sabonis said the biggest need this offseason is to get PG. Will Sacramento solve the required problems before the 2025-26 season?

Domanatas Sabonis and other Kings players spoke to the media for the last time this season on Thursday. In these exit interviews, Sabonis covered several topics. First, he discussed the team’s need to obtain PG. For four seasons, Sabonis was a teammate of De'aaron Fox. All-Star PG played for Sacramento for eight and a half seasons. However, the Kings traded Fox to the Spurs at the 2024-25 deadline.
Fox was a senior PG in the Age of Kings, but they were willing to separate. Domantas Sabonis believes that a new PG is needed during the offseason. They have enough talent in the starting lineup with Demar DeRozan, Zach Lavine and Domantas Sabonis. However, when FOX is traded, the production level of PG is not the same.
Domantas Sabonis said he likes playing for Sacramento and wants to be with the team. Additionally, Sabonis said he wants to participate in decision making during the offseason. This makes you believe he is not satisfied with the actions the team has made in the past. There might be an All-Star PG deal like De'aaron Fox. The Kings will give Sabonis more control during the offseason, can they get PG to improve the team's game?
