Angel Options Jack Kochanowicz

Angels announce they choose right-handed Jack Kochanowicz to Triple Salt Lake. Jake Eder Additional bullpen arms are provided for this weekend’s series against the Rattlesnakes.

This is the first change in Angels spinning throughout the season. Quintet Yusei Kikuchi,,,,, José Soriano,,,,, Taylor Anderson,,,,, Kyle Hendricks Kochanowicz summarizes all 93 games. This reflects both excellent health and alternatives to senior minors. Kikuchi is the only member of the starting five, with an ERA below 4.00 or above average strikeout efficiency. Soriano allowed four points per 9 times and got huge ground ball count. Anderson and Hendricks are the soft fifth starter type.

Kochanowicz has always been one of the effective starter in MLB. His ERA is 6.03 ERA, with a below-average strikeout rate and an 11% higher walk percentage. 6’7″ Righty is one of six pitchers with at least 15 starts while allowing more than 6 scores per 9. Only Randy Vásquez,,,,, Erick Fedde and Antonio Senzatela The difference in strikeout/walking rate is poor.

The 24-year-old Kochanowicz hasn’t abandoned a high-quality start since mid-May. He had the worst season against Texas last night. He surrendered eight hits and three walks without escaping the third inning. Unless he recalls his position on the injured list in the corresponding move, he will spend at least the next 15 days in Triple-A.

Anderson, Kikuchi and Soriano line up for this weekend’s series. They will be able to reset the All-Star break rotation. Until July 22, they don’t need to mark a new fifth starter. Caden Dana and Victor Mederos Located in a 40-man lineup and working out in the rotation of the Salt Lake. None of them have a great season. The Mederos era is better with excellent controls, while Dana shows better swing ability. Chasing Sirius He has also been on the minor league injury list since May, but has recently begun rehabilitation missions at the complex. Sam Aldegheri Just chose to return to Double-A this week.

Sam Blum of Sports Shows Angels May Extend Carson Fulmer As a beginner. Last night behind Kochanowicz, he worked 5 1/3 innings. Fulmer earned an average running rate of 3.98 in 54 1/3 innings before being summoned this week (mainly as a reliefist). He has 5.38 ERA outings in 115 professional major leagues. Reid Detmers Working out in the bullpen all season, most of the time was one inning. HALOS hasn’t ruled out his spin at some point, but he’s their best setup option in the thin relief group. He also needs to rebuild the traditional starting workload in multiple occurrences.

As this afternoon’s trade deadline prospect explores, Angels can pursue a starter. Despite their slim lineup, they were in four of four games in a chaotic American League. They refuse to sell on previous deadlines, so it’s no surprise that they’re at least soft buyers if they’re at least in the playoff range.
