Wimbledon 2025: World Rankings, Women’s Championships and Timetables – Your Question Answer

Both men’s (ATP) and women’s (WTA) rankings are based on part of the rolling 52-week accumulation process, with positions used to determine seeds in the competition.
The men’s ranking is at most 20 championships, while the women’s ranking is at most 18.
In the men’s competition, these 20 qualified matches included four Grand Slams, ATP Finals, eight mandatory ATP Masters 1000 Championships, followed by seven best performances in the lower rankings, including the non-major ATP Masters 1000 event, all ATP 500 series, all ATP 500 series and ALTP 250 series.
For players who do not qualify for the ATP finals, 19 games were calculated.
In the women’s games, their 18 games included four Grand Slams, ATP Finals, 6 WTA 1000 mandatory combination/virtual matches, a WTA 1000 mandatory tournament consisting of only WTAs, then consisting of only players, and then 7 of other events.
If they fail to reach the ATP final, the number drops to 17.
Accumulate ranking points through the tournament through victory and progress, and higher ranking matches deserve more.
When determining points, the ranking of the player’s opponent is usually not considered.
The only exception is the Manchester United Cup, where the scores of ATP and WTA rankings are based on the rankings defeated by opponents.
