Western Region revealed 2025-26 years

The NBA Cup group has been revealed in the 2025-26 season and the game will begin on October 31.

There are six groups, three in the Western Conference, and the other three are Eastern. There are five teams in each group. Six group winners automatically make it to the quarterfinals and will join two teams with the best second place.

Point difference is used to separate teams that end with the same beat record. While the quarterfinals’ home advantage was determined, the semi-finals and finals were held in Las Vegas.

The Los Angeles Lakers won the first edition in 2023, followed by the Milwaukee Bucks last year. Neither team has surpassed the first round of the playoffs after their respective wins.

Ironically, there may be more runner-ups in this competition so far. The Indiana Pacers lost the 2023 finals and continued to reach the Eastern Conference Finals. The Oklahoma City Thunder lost the 2024 finals and is now the NBA champion.

2025 NBA Cup Death Group lives in the West

There is a very clear set of deaths. It will be the Western group. It features Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors, San Antonio Spurs and Portland Trail Blazers.

This shows that three teams hope to be champions next season, which will be an improved Spurs. The Trail Blazers performed very well last season and are confident they are ready to take a step forward, too.

Eastern injury loss panel-level appeal

The first thing about the Eastern Conference panel is that it would look spicy if Jayson Tatum, Tyrese Haliburton and Damian Lillard were healthy.

Defending champion Milwaukee sits with the New York Knicks, Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Hornets. At this stage, one will have to consider the early favorites of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Although, the Orlando Magic may make a statement with a newly upgraded roster, led by the addition of Desmond Bane and Tyus Jones.
