Mike Brown is excited about the pressure to be the Knicks coach

Manhattan has a new head coach who is well aware of the pressure to lead the Knicks roster. Even so, Mike Brown welcomes the high expectations around the club and admits he is in charge of one of the most powerful locker rooms of his career.
The New York tactician first got rid of any concerns about Tom Thibodeau’s exclusion and took over his team that he managed for five seasons. The former coach was fired and lost to the Pacers despite two wins from this year’s NBA Finals.
“First of all, no one has any expectations that are greater than I do. I mean, my expectations are high,” Brown said. “But it’s the Knicks. I’m talking about Madison Square Garden being iconic. You talk about our fans. I love and embrace the expectations that come with it, so I’m looking forward to it.”
Mike has finally been hired for over a month since Thibodeau’s surprising sack, which happened after the Knicks made their first Eastern Conference Finals in 25 years. However, the new coach in town is reluctant to talk too much, or the reasons behind the decision.
“First of all, Tom is a great coach, he’s my friend, but I don’t want to walk over.” “I’m excited about the squad. I’m excited about the things we’re going to put here and where we can go with the guys we have.”
The New York club had an incredible 51-31 record in the last regular season and cemented one of the NBA’s best starting batting, including all-NBA stars Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson. You could even say that they should start their next campaign as one of the champions in the East.
“Our goal is to build a sustainable, winning culture and producing championships,” Brown shared. “I’m lucky to know what it takes to create success: a lot of hard work, a high level of commitment and attention today.”
