Premier League champion Liverpool is preparing to make an unexpected delay push to steal Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, a player closely linked to Arsenal, according to the Independent.
The 27-year-old Mikel Arteta has chased after his Mikel Arteta to add depth and quality to his offense and creative options, but Liverpool has now increased interest in signing the Palace star.
So far, Liverpool has had a prolific window, and has received several impressive signings, including Jeremia Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez.

But manager Arne Slot seems to be eager to double the offensive division by next season, with Eze already the top target.
The England International team helped the Palace win the FA Cup last season, and his personal performance impressed some of England’s biggest clubs.
Although Arsenal reportedly made the most progress in signing Eze, the report noted that no specific approach has been taken to sign the Palace star.
It’s obvious why the Reds competed in Eze this summer. The question mark of Luis Diaz’s future may force them to consider a move against Eze, who can’t just play a wide range of offensive positions but instead plays a central role behind the striker.
The Red Army needs more creativity

If Eze stays at the club this summer, he will compete with Cody Gakpo and Diaz and compete in the starting lineup.
Unless Liverpool formally makes an offer immediately, Arsenal is still a favorite. The Gunners have shown their greatest interest so far, and Ez personally is keen to move to the UAE Stadium.
Whether Liverpool’s interest will change the minds of players remains to be seen, but last season’s two Premier League title contenders may be heading to one of the league’s most creative players again as the summer transfer window proceeds.
Eze has a £68m release clause at the palace, and anyone who wants to sign him this summer will have to pay.
