The Callaway Elyte Driver Line is for everyone. Need proof? Callaway was previously only used for tours and could only release limited triangle diamond Max in the Paradym AI Smoke family. Volkswagen is so popular that we want more.
With the introduction of the Elyte family, Callaway has been continuing to turn in the right bay and course. The TD Max is built on a 360 carbon chassis similar to the standard TD, but raises the footprint from 450cc to a full 460cc for more forgiveness. It also comes with a new AI 10X face, which has performed well in Golf’s Club Quiz, during player tests and during major tours around the world.

TD Max combines the footprint of the Elyte (460cc) with the shape and performance characteristics of the three-diamond model. Game-changing technology for Elyte Shapes: The all-new Elyte Triple Triple Diamond Max shape provides enhanced aerodynamics for elite speeds throughout the golf swing. Thermal Carbon Crown: This aerospace grade carbon fiber achieves low CG for optimal launch and rotation. AI 10x face: Our most advanced AI face to date, the new AI10X face enhances the speed, rotation and dispersion of the entire face.

But why demand?
When I first tested my own with the AI Smoke TD Max, I immediately appreciated the higher launch and rotation. Likewise, the shape of the head and the starting line of the right offset. The Elyte TD Max showed me the same positive trend, but also made me average ball speeds of 1.8 miles per hour.
Is it feasible?
The speed is great, but the dispersion along the distance has been tighter. Hit the Smoke TD Max next to the Elyte TD Max, Elyte averaged 3 yards deviations in my carry code, all 15 shots moved to the right of the target line. The Smoke TD Max is more neutral in the starting direction, but is not consistent in producing a fade-out ball flight.
When someone who hates seeing the leftist lady, Elyte looks like the wand I'm missing in my schoolbag.
How about rotation?
Callaway creates a “tourism”-shaped head that doesn't skip on the spin and hit the ball through a higher window compared to the standard Elyte TD or other new Elyte TD Tour draw. From my tests, I've seen rotations about 300 rpm higher than other TD models. Compared to the Smoke TD Max, the separation I saw was slightly smaller, with an extra spin of about 200 rpm.
I will live in the low transmitter and low spin player categories and I will get all the extra spins I can get.
Who is the Elyte TD Max?
If you're a guy who prefers more traditional shapes, cleaning addresses, fighting with pulls or hooks and needs extra launch and spin, the Elyte TD Max might be the weapon of choice for Tee in 2025. If you have had success with the Triple Diamond family and are looking for a more tolerant superior.
As always, I highly recommend using each available model for health or to test it yourself. If you're ready to pull the trigger and upgrade the long game, there's no mistake with the new TD Max. The bomb is gone!
