Chelsea will report that on Arsenal’s interest, it will demand up to £50 million to England winger Noni Madueke this summer.
Negotiations between the Gunners and Madueke representatives have been described as accelerating, but it remains to be seen whether the two clubs can agree to a deal.
According to the Telegraph, Chelsea expects Madueke to offer a offer of about £50 million, although it is unclear whether Arsenal will pay too much for the 23-year-old.
The report notes that the blues will point to Anthony Elanga of Nottingham Forest, moving to Newcastle at a similar price this summer.
Should Arsenal pay £50 million for the Noni Madueke transfer?
Arsenal fans have made it clear that they are not satisfied with Madueke Transfer Links, especially in doubt about the future of Ethan Nwaneri at the Emirates Stadium.
For Madueke, the starter that Madueke had to be guaranteed at Chelsea, he was certainly not a regular player around Mikel Arteta, which is hard to understand because of the existence of another left-footed player Bukayo Saka, who was on the right.
For a squad player, £50m seems like a lot, so it’s hard to see this unless Chelsea lowers their demand.
Otherwise, Arsenal might find Madueke’s new position, perhaps on the left, rather than it’s hard to imagine that one or both of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard could leave the club this summer.
Will Chelsea replace him if they leave?
Chelsea has become the new winger Jamie Gittens, while Estevao William will also move to Stamford Bridge this summer.
CFC may feel they are sufficient overall, but some fans may wish Madueke replaced.
??? With players keen to join the Spurs, Tottenham Hotspur will bid for Mohammed Kudus again.
Chelsea also kept in touch with Kudus’ camp, which also had more club interest, but the Spurs were looking to speed up.

As Fabrizio Romano mentioned in the above post, West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus seems to make sense as a similar replacement for Madueke.
The Hammer star can play on the right side, too, but he didn’t have the best season last semester and it looks like he’s much better than Madueke.
