It’s no secret that Newcastle has become the new right-wing winger market, and it’s a stance they’ve wanted to solve for years. Eddie Howe will have a big say in who signed the autograph, and his eyes are on Johan Bakayoko.
Bakayoko has attracted the interest of many European clubs in recent years, and Newcastle is one of them. They identified him as their main target in January, but there was no agreement eventually due to PSR concerns. But for the winners of the Calaba Cup, these guys are now over and they are expected to spend a huge time this summer.

Bakayoko has a great chance to join Newcastle this summer, and Pete O’Rourke informs football insider Howe is a big fan of PSV Eindhoven Man.
“Bakayoko, I’m sure he might be interested in the move if it was the right offer. He wanted to play at the highest level and Newcastle could offer him to him through Champions League football. As his contract enters his final year, that could be much cheaper than some other players, so he could sign Eddie for Eddie very smart.”
Due to insufficient 2024-25 season, Bakayoko’s stock is currently low, and his PSV contract will expire in 2026. As a result, people believe he can get his price for a lower price, which will be music from Newcastle’s ears.
But, given Newcastle’s deal with Nottingham Forest’s Anthony Elanga, another player who is Howe’s popular.
