Wimbledon 2025 results: UK’s Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski reach third round
Britain’s Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski have entered the third round of Wimbledon’s men’s doubles.
The French Open Runner-up finished sixth in the All England Club, beating Nicolas Barrientos of Colombia and Rithvik Choudary Bollipalli of India 6-4 7-6 (9-7).
They will face Argentina’s 12th seeds Maximo Gonzalez and Andres Molteni in the quarterfinals.
However, the all-English pairings were eliminated for the women’s doubles matches with Sonay Kartal and Jodie Burrage, as well as Mimi Xu and Ella McDonald.
Qatar will face Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova on Sunday to have a spot in the women’s singles quarterfinals, while teammate Burrage lost 6-3 6-1 to Brazil’s Beatrice Haddad Haddad Haddad Haddad Haddad Haddad Haddad Haddad Haddad Haddad on Sunday.
Xu and McDonald fell into Americans Sofia Kenin and Caroline Dolehide 6-2 6-3.
In mixed doubles, Marcus Willis and Alicia Barnett were beaten 7-5 6-1 by Santiago Gonzalez, Mexico and Tereza Mihalikova of Slovakia.
