Ben Shelton was suspended on Thursday’s second round against Rinky Hijikata as he encountered bad lights in two games and led 5-4 in the third inning – so the victory could be a game.

Wimbledon Championship director Jamie Baker said the decision to remove Shelton and Hijikata from the stadium was due to the “extremely dark” light.
