Rangers want to sign “smart” Premier League gems, but must sell Ibrox Star first

After already welcoming Emmanuel Fernandez and Joe Rothwell this week, the Glasgow Rangers are reportedly keen to sign the Premier League this summer.

Rangers sign Fernandez and Roswell

Gers performed well and really started their summer business, and now that things have begun, they don’t look likely to slow down anytime soon. After welcoming Fernandez and Rothwell, Russell Martin has earned up to five of his revenues on Rangers’ radar at the same time as the likes of Conor Coady, as they hope to add to that number.

Fernandez told Rangers’ official website after submitting the pen to paper: “I’m honored that it’s a huge club with a great fan base and I think I can start my career and have a great journey here.

“I was shocked when I heard about the Wanderers because it was a big club, but it was where I wanted to be. I haven’t played at this level and there would be a lot of life changes for me, but it’s part of what I want to be and I can’t wait to get started.”

Meanwhile, Roswell said it was also very happy to join the Ibrox guys: “My first reaction? Yes, it’s obvious that the manager came in at that time and made it easier for me to make this decision.

Rangers are staring at a forward, which will be a dream for Hamza Igamane.

“Working with him and knowing what type of guy he is and what he wants to do is a much more appeal to me, but the club does speak.”

It’s by far the most important week of summer for the Wanderers, who are now setting their sights on another impressive Premier League talent that welcomes Martin.

Wanderers are keen to sign Irving Baker

According to daily records, the Wanderers are now eager to sign Liverpool’s Owen Beck, but if they want to sign left-back in a permanent deal, they will need to sell Ridvan Yilmaz. Recent reports suggest that the Premier League champion will accept loan offers to young people, although guarantees are required during his game time.

Baker found himself on the Ranger’s radar, which should be almost unshocked. The 22-year-old enjoyed an impressive loan spell at Blackburn Rovers last season, and then Milos Kerkez’s Anfield arrived, likely requiring another loan relocation or permanent exit to earn further game time.

This is not the first time Beck has appeared in Scotland, given that he has also spent some time in Dundee. At that time, their technical director and former Celtics manager Gordon Strachan told reporters: “With Owen Beck you can take all the data from the player and it will tell you this: He goes forward, the engine is good, everything is good.

“What this won’t tell you is that Irving is a great kid with a great personality. His team is very ethical and he can’t do it with the people around him. His first thought is always the team and I love being among younger players. He makes himself a better football player. He’s smart.”
