He was reportedly traveling with his brother Andre Silva, a 26-year-old Penafiel player who was also killed when the car set off from the road and swallowed the flames.

An article on Zamora Provincial Parliament X is as follows: “Two young men died in an accident in A-52 (Palacios de Sanabria).

“The Rionegro del Puente Fire Department responded.

“The vehicle caught fire and the flames spread to the vegetation.

“They are only 28 and 26 years old. RIP.”

Jota got married recently

Jota married long-time partner Rute Cardoso two weeks ago. They have three children.

Liverpool signed Wolves’ Jota in 2020, and he immediately became a key member of the team, helping Messiside win the FA Cup in 2022. They also finished second in the EFL Cup and Champions League at the time.

Liverpool won the Premier League last season after Jurgen Klopp left and Arne Slot as manager, with Jota contributing nine goals in 37 games.
