Hawks' trae Young is popped up for taking out his “frustration” on Refs

Trae Young was obviously frustrated in the Hawks game knockout Tuesday night as he witnessed his team fall 25 points. With five minutes left on the final buzzer, he threw a tough pass to the referee, winning his second technical foul and automatic ejection.
Officials described the Atlanta star's drama as a “drift of the game,” considering he showed off some fancy balls before throwing the ball to referee James Williams. After a few seconds, he deflected the ball with his feet and would not place it on the official Pat Fraher.
“Trae Young was thrown to a game official for throwing the ball to a game official because he was thrown to a game official and was therefore given the first technical foul that was not competitive,” Williams told reporters after the game.
When asked why Trae got his second skill, James explained that the player behaved “not like the Startsmanike, to say the least.
“When we tried to play the free throw for the first technical foul, and when the player received two fouls that were not athletic, he was popped out of the game,” the referee told a frustrated young man, because the Eagles dropped 22 points at that time.
Georgia's franchise continues to lose 120-95 and now they will back up their bags in the summer as their season comes to another disappointing conclusion. After the game, Trae forgave his actions by saying he made a statement on behalf of his teammates.
“Sometimes, when I get frustrated with the referee, it's not just for me,” Young explained. “It's for my teammates. I see Dyson Daniels is leaving; he may not be a household name yet, but he deserves the same respect as some others. If you see a foul, you should be a foul. It's pretty much everything for me.”
