Arsenal gives “less than 2% chance” to sign Alexander Isaac

Arsenal hopes to land one of its highest forward targets this summer, which has caused a major blow, with BBC journalist Sami Mokbel saying the Gunners “have less than 2% chance” to close the deal in this transfer window.

Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta are actively looking for new centers to add clinical advantage to the team ahead of the new Premier League season, and Arsenal is determined to take part in their strong campaign.

But the Gunners are still failing to win the big trophy under Arteta, and they are ready to take action for a proven forward this summer to keep them worried about attacking power next season.

Arsenal has little chance to sign Alexander Isak

North London Club has been in contact with Newcastle United attacker Alexander Isak for a long time.

But Mokbel’s latest update gives the Gunners little hope to sign the Swedish international attacker.

Mokbel delivered a speech at the Latte Show, providing updates:

“I think the ideal scenario for Mikel Arteta is to get Alexander Isak. I think we kind of know that there might be less than 2% chances of this happening, just because of the numbers involved.

“If you’re going to be in ISAK, next season might be the season for you to have a chance, when he only has two years left for a contract.

“But then I saw the report in the Northeast yesterday that they were trying to get him to sign a new contract so you know, we’ll see that.”

Forward search has become one of the club’s key priorities, fearing that despite the impressive offensive performance last season, the lack of a consistent, clinical ninth could eventually hinder Arsenal in the biggest game.

Arteta is eager to add a striker who can complement Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli while providing reliable target scores in the box.

Mokbel news will disappoint many Arsenal supporters who hope a former striker will sign this summer to complete Arteta’s offensive puzzle.

Isak was also chased by Liverpool this summer and was described as “ruthless” by Hipies manager Eddie Howe.

The Gunners are still interested in Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig and Viktor Gyokeres of Sports.

If any of them can join the Gunners this summer, Arteta and Arsenal fans will be happy with the increase.
