The most beautiful finishing hole in Europe?

Earlier this month, DP World Tour visited Salzburg to compete in the Austrian Alpine Open at the GC Ut Altentann GC.

This is the first time returning to Austria in four years, and it is a picturesque course.

But the most beautiful golf course in Salzburg Land is actually just on the road, and the last four holes are probably just there, anywhere on the continent, the most beautiful closing extension.

Of course, Salzburg Land is known for its fascinating and providing sensational views.

The city of Salzburg is Mozart’s birthplace, and it inspired all his best work.

The hills and mountains around the city are used as shooting locations for musical sounds.

Hohenwerfen Castle, south of the city, is famous for movie fans in World War II adventures, and the Eagle dares.

In short, no matter where you go in Salzburg, the Alps offer a great stage or grand backdrop.

If you head to the beautiful alpine town of St Wolfgang and take the COG Railway to the top of Schafberg, it will enjoy the views on the top but can also be enjoyed towards up to 11 lakes.

One of them is Mondsee, where the golfer can find signs of a course that tells the story—the hole that threads between trees.

Going to the course, the scenery is just as wonderful.

The first nine are very good. It’s actually very good.

The same is true for the back nine caves, each cave has a view of the top of the mountain.

But from 14Th Green to 15Th Tee introduces you to a stunning four holes that won’t make you smile.

15Th It is 3-3-pole, carried on a cold blue glacier water lake. Good from the tee, and even better looking back at the green t-shirt:

16Th It’s a tight short 4-shot. You just have to miss a yard or two fairway and you have to scrape off another green angle with the edge of the lake.

It has a majestic background:

The views of the clubhouse are also very good.

A short walk will take you to 17Th Tee, another hole with 3 strokes, which is heading towards Lake Mondes itself. If 16 is a bit like moving to a hole in the Alps in the Harbour Town, it feels more like Loch Lomond:

Then the last hole, stroke 5, 18Th. It bends over the lake and then bends with another green green that is long and left.

The golfers in front of us were Italians and they were still hanging out. “Berisimah!” said one person, shaking his head. “Berisimah!”

Then we retired to the clubhouse, which of course had its own beauty.

And do you see the highest peak in the distance? That’s Schaffberg. beat.
