Golf Business News – Inauguration Bell Tower Classic raises over £100,000 charity

Belfry Hotel & Resort cemented its reputation as a world-renowned golf destination, with the success of its first Bell Tower Classic Golf Day, which raised £110,000 for charities.
The exclusive event on May 22 saw celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment events – including Olympic gold medalist Sir Steve Redgrave, Mission Responsibility and Peaky Blind actor Nigel Boyle, football legend Alan McInally and the influential Brotherhood play 18 benefits in the resort’s world-class Brabazon.
Funds raised from the event will support the two life-changing partner charities of Bell Tower – Hotel Action and Motor Neuron Diseases Association.
Hosted by sports host and broadcaster Dan Walker, the invitation only complements a range of course events, including a “beat the Pro” hole with former DP World Travel player Robert Rock; a chance to win a golf dirt bike with John Deere; and “Curry on the Course”, a midway fine Indian cuisine from the gourmet restaurant Five Rivers.
Belfry Classic, sponsored by Turkish Airlines and Elliott Group, also includes a grand dinner designed by celebrity chefs and British menu champion Tom Shepherd, who showed off his winning “no regular boys” dessert. It’s also a full-day barbecue, multiple drink receptions, exciting live auctions, great prizes, memorable bonuses at the resort’s Braba Zon bar and entertainment from live band Apollo Soul.

choreographer and former strict dance pro James Jordan commented: “The whole golf day was great. Everyone I spoke to said it was the best ever – the team, organization and evening events at the clock tower are on the next level.”
Charlotte Taylor, senior director of senior corporate partners at the MND Association, said: “We had an incredible day and thank you very much for your amazing support. Even better at the evening, there were a lot of generous bids at the auction. So much hard work clearly shows the day and the recovery time for welfare recovery is great.
The Hotel Action added: “A sincere thank you to all those who helped make Clock Tower Classic Golf Day so incredibly successful. This inaugural event was a perfect blend of golf, networking and celebrations. Thank you to everyone at Clock Tower for working so hard to make this day possible. It was a real day.” It was a real day. ”
Chris Eigelaar, a resort at Belfry Hotel & Resort, said: “We were overwhelmed by the amazing responses everyone who attended the Classic, our first ever bell tower, has received. With a great player roster, our signature courses, incredible food and entertainment, and an incredible reputation for food and entertainment, and a celebration of the festivities, it was a prestigious game, an event on stand.
“It’s all possible due to the incredible teamwork and dedication that everyone has shown to be involved. We are extremely proud of our achievements and are already looking forward to making the 2026 Belfry Classic bigger and better.”
