Wimbledon 2025: How UK’s Jack Draper is a major contender for clubs across England

Not to worry about a physical breakdown means Draper can trust more to execute his key weapons, which are perfect for grasslands.
Coach James Trotman is a fellow British who has passed the coaching path in the LTA and is helping Draper learn how to play actively at the right moments.
This means willing to hit high-risk projections and move forward to the net and free his ground from the baseline.
“He is more aware of what his strengths are – this is the biggest change this year,” said Leon Smith, the captain of the UK Davis Cup.
“If you have the opportunity to do your first strike, you don’t want to expand your points.
“He is not afraid to step in and be brave, including in important moments.”
According to ATP statistics, willingness to take risks under pressure is where the performance is excellent this season.
Draper is second only to the world’s No. 1 Sinner in the Tour’s “Stress Level” – combining rest point conversions, saving the percentage of rest points, winning wins and deciding victory.
