Jannik Sinner releases duet with Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli

World No. 1 Jannik Sinner swapped his tennis racket for a microphone, releasing a duet with fellow Italians and tenor Andrea Bocelli.

The pair released a song called Polvere e Gloria, meaning dust and glory, including 23-year-old Sinner, repeating part of his speech on victory and failure.

“I’m very excited to be part of this project with Andrea, who has been a unique and extraordinary voice for 30 years, the banner of our country in the rest of the world,” Sina said.

“I can never imagine hearing my voice in one of his songs. It’s very moving.”

The song features Italian and English lyrics, along with accompanying video features from Sinner and Bocelli, recording a duo at the latter studio in Tuscany, as well as images of the two’s childhood.

This is the latest business from 66-year-old Bocelli, who has been in the sports world since he was 12 years old. He recorded the farewell news of Gary Lineker’s last appearance at the Speaker’s contest in May, and then sang the show with Con Te Partiro.

He also stood with former Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri and performed Nessun Dorma at King Power Stadium as the Foxes celebrated their 2015/16 Premier League title.

Sinner won the U.S. Open in 2024 and the Australian Open in 2024 and 2025.
