Lopez’s goal helps Brazil’s team win first victory after weather delays in the 2025 Club World Cup

Wessam Abou Ali scored his own goal, replacing Jose Manuel Lopez hit Palmeiras ended the goal drought in Group A of the 2025 Club World Cup to beat Al-Al-Al-Ahly as they paused their first win in the game in the weather in Atlanta.
With no goals in the first half, the group started the merger for nearly four hours without the ball hitting the back of the ball, and then four minutes after the break, prolific Al-Ahly forward Ali glanced at his own Nets.
After this time interval, forward Lopez collected Mauricio’s pass, responsible for passing and producing a cool low finish to double the advantage of the Brazilian club in the 59th minute.
Shortly after Lopez’s goal, delayed by about 45 minutes, players and fans suggested covering under adverse conditions at Metlife Stadium.

Palmeiras vs Al Ahly: Group A Running
The group headed to another deadlock in the half after Al-Ahly tied with Miami and Palmeiras with Porto’s deadlock.
The main event in the first half was a red card overturned by Palmeiras midfielder Raphael Veiga, who was initially sent to a late tackle on Zizo.
After the Pitchside Monitor comments, British referee Anthony Taylor reduced the penalty for yellow cards, although this was only Vega’s temporary probation on his 30th birthday as manager Abel Ferreira replaced the Brazilian with Mauricio at this interval and also brought Lopez’s vitor roque.
These changes have the expected effect, from Palestinian International Ali to the excellent delivery of Moreno and continue with the excellent runs and strikes of Lopez.
“Nothing happened in the first 45 minutes,” Egypt’s champion’s new manager Jose Riveiro spoke with Dazn.
“The second half started very slowly. There was a free kick and then we couldn’t get out of one. It was 50-50, but the game was far from us.”
That great counter every angle @palmeiras 🐷
