Manuel Neuer knows Bayern Munich is unable to underestimate Boca juniors as they face a more difficult test in their second club World Cup match.

But that’s still something Bayern is preparing for, Neuer added: “We were able to charge the battery and then train as usual. As the game approached, we also became more and more focused on the opponent’s analysis and we knew exactly what we would need in the game.
“On the day before the game, we kept increasing the intensity because the temperature also plays a role.
“We will see how fares are and how well all teams are. The knockout stage will be something else.
“Of course, teams from Europe are the usual suspects, but teams in South America will not be underestimated.”
Boca’s hope of reaching the final 16 will likely boil down to the final group showdown against Auckland, which will be expected to lose a lot on the Argentinian and Benfica.
But Boca’s focus is entirely on their missions to try to destroy Bayern’s chances.
“We haven’t considered Auckland yet, we are considering Bayern Munich now,” coach Miguel Angel Russo said after a draw with Benfica.
“We have to complete the task. It will be a physical match like today [against Benfica]. They are a big opponent and historically they have won a lot of victories. But Argentina football is also very big, showing that today.
“We welcome these challenges. But we have to know that Friday’s game will be more difficult than today.”

Bayern’s Alphonso Davies, Hiroki Ito and Kim Min-Jae were eliminated due to injury.
