Arsenal hopes to sign a new left-wing winger this summer, with their connections to many of Europe’s top players. But they can also consider moves similar to Raheem Sterling in 2024.
People like Rodrygo Goes, Nico Williams and Jamie Gittens appeared on Arsenal’s radar, but there is no guarantee they can all sign, especially with the interests of other clubs. But, in the case of Jack Grealish, if they take action, there is a high possibility of a deal.
Grealish will almost certainly leave the human city after leaving the Pecking Order this summer, and although he has attracted the interest of many other Premier League clubs, Arsenal has the option.
Arsenal urges to consider Jack Grealish’s summer move
That’s what former Premier League footballer and Arsenal fan Darren Bent said of Grealish on TalkSport (via football insider).
“I’m sure I’ll have him at Arsenal. But it’s not Martinelli. The thing you have to remember is that he’s blowing hot and cold, so Jack will get the chance to play. If Jack wants to get into the Arsenal team and do a good job, Martinelli has to fight and nail the teeth and then nail the teeth to get back.”
Grealish may not be a popular signing among Arsenal supporters, but if he can regain the form he showed in season one or two of Man City, he will be the top addition to Mikel Arteta’s roster – especially if he’s going to pay a low-key loan.
However, on the surface, the Grelias are not a major upgrade that Arsenal needs on the left, so the options that club officials consider in the summer may not be an option.
