Liverpool reportedly is interested in signing Newcastle joint attacker Anthony Gordon during the summer window.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, they are preparing to make another big move after signing Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz. They are expected to pay about £100 million of club records to sign German International, and are now ready to bankrupt Gordon again.
Recent reports said his cost was around £750,000-800,000.
Liverpool asked him last summer
Newcastle attackers reportedly were high on their wish list, and they held talks last summer. It would be fun to see if they could convince Newcastle to sell players. The 24-year-old may prove to be an excellent long-term acquisition.
Gordon was a Liverpool boy fan, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to convince him to join the club.
Anthony Gordon replaces Luis Diaz?

Luis Diaz is linked to the migration away from the club, and Liverpool wants Gordon as a potential replacement.
There is uncertainty about the future of Colombians. Even if he is happy at Premier League clubs, Barcelona is very passionate about him this summer. Interestingly, whether Liverpool decided to sell the player in the next few weeks and replace him with Gordon.
Newcastle attackers have proven themselves in the Premier League and are undoubtedly excellent enough to play for the largest club in the United States. If he manages to finish the deal, he could become a Liverpool asset. He will increase his goals, creativity and rhythm in terms of things.
Newcastle has been eligible for the Champions League next season and will hope to build a team that can fight for the Grand Trophy regularly. This summer, it may be unacceptable to sell one of their best attackers. It remains to be seen how Liverpool convinces them.
