- this Cardinal active Jordan Walker From 10 Days Illinois with Outfielders Michael Siani Select triple A in the corresponding move. Walker returned to the action after spending more than two weeks at Illinois State University (IL) as inflammation of his left wrist plagued the former highest prospect. Walker, who works as a card’s daily right fielder, hit only .215/.273/.310 this season in 172 sets, although his bats have started to heat up in a few games before the injury.
- this Golden Oriole Activated capture Gary Sanchez From 10 days of IL and select catcher Maverick Handli to triple Norfolk. Like Walker, Sanchez is also tied up with wrist inflammation, although his problem is even worse, as Sanchez has not played in major league games since April 27. Sanchez will now restore his role Adley RutschmanBackup and hope his IL stand can essentially reset his season, as Sanchez only had three hits in the first 35 plates of the Baltimore uniform. O’s O signed to Sanchez in December for a $8.5mm free agent deal.
