Aston Villa could have accepted £30 million ‘machine’

Aston Villa may not be playing in the Champions League next season, but that hasn’t stopped Unai Emery from trying to sign a high-profile player this summer.
Indeed, Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is associated with a stunning move in the Central Region, and Jack Grealish’s potential move will certainly satisfy Villa Park’s football romance.
These two players will undoubtedly strengthen the first team, which is the type of players the club should target.
Could Emery still be keen on raiding a young gem from Liverpool this summer? For a midfielder who doesn’t like the best season under Arne Slot, this could be on the table.
Aston Villa may see bids from Liverpool stars
Harvey Elliott recently had something to do with moving to Villa this summer, which could be the savvy business of the Spanish.
Former Villa scout Bryan King talked about this speculation – suggesting that the Midlands team could see a bid of around £30m, hoping to consolidate their interests:
“He’s a player who rises through the system, he’s a London boy; his parents are from London. So, watching this space, a London club might also be interested in him. I think Liverpool will accept £30 million for Elliott, that’s how much they want.”
In today’s market, £30 million may turn into bargaining, especially when he has similar qualities to a certain Cole Palmer.
Why Aston Villa has to sign Harvey Elliott
Palmer is arguably one of the country’s best British attacking midfielders at the moment. He has scored 40 goals and 27 assists in just 91 games in two full seasons at Chelsea.
This is every 1.3 matched blues to participate in the target. So, on Emery’s priority list, signing up to someone who radiates these skills should be high.

Indeed, according to FBREF, Palmer is the eighth player of Elliott in the top five European leagues. Judging from their respective statistics, both of them can play left and right-footed organizers in the center or right wing.
The two registered similar statistics on several metrics, including shootings per 90 (4.12 vs 3.41), shootings per 90 targets (0.97 vs 1.24), shooting moves per 90 (5.11 vs 5.7) and success gain ratios (44.4% vs 45.1%) during the previous semester.
Previously, journalist Sam McGuire worked tirelessly as a “machine” and it seemed his spell at Anfield was about to end.
The midfielder has only eight of 28 appearances last semester and Elliott will be seen as demanding a surplus after Florian Wirtz’s upcoming signing.
This should keep Emery on high alert, especially if he can get the signature of the aforementioned £30 million fee this summer.
The next few weeks are for the villa’s faithfulness, they are waiting for who will arrive at the club.
