Aston Villa won’t consider Morgan Rogers’ summer offer
According to football insiders, former Aston Villa scout Mick Brown revealed that the club is confident of retaining Rodgers’ services.
“Aston Villa wanted to master Rogers. I wasn’t surprised that the top clubs were watching him because he was amazing. England called and gave them heavy performances, it always added to his performance and the clubs he was interested in. His profile and his level of interest rose.
“Eventually, though, he joined the team by performing for Villa. They were confident they could have mastered him, even with these financial problems. He played such a crucial role in Unai Emery’s team, and I think he or they wouldn’t have the interest to make him appear soon.
Aston Villa must keep them if they are to compete for Champions League qualifiers next season, so it is no surprise that they strongly want to keep him at Villa Park.
