Thomas Partey says family happiness is key to the future

Thomas Partey said he was an Arsenal fan but hinted that he would be willing to leave Emirates this summer due to his due contract.

Partey’s current deal was exhausted at the end of June, and although negotiations on fresh terms were still underway, no consensus has been reached.

Arsenal will also sign Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, raising further doubts about the midfielder’s future in north London.

Speaking on Ghana TV3 during his international duties this week, Pat Yi said: “The first thing is where you are happy and how you feel at home.

“At the end of the day, you’re playing football, you’re always on a different team. That’s about your next goal and what you’re going to achieve next.

“You still have to study all of this, and at the end of the day, we all have a family that needs money, and that’s it [in] Our thoughts. ”

Parties – I am an Arsenal fan

Partey has been a regular target against fans for the past two seasons, and he admits that family happiness will also enter the equation.

He added: “We are not young. There are a lot of things to watch with our family now and you want them to be happy.

“When you’re out there, no one destroys your family, these are things you have to see. When you’re young, you’re anywhere.

“I’m an Arsenal fan and I can’t decide anything, just leave it to my agent and the club. I just want to enjoy football.”

After struggling with injuries the previous year, the party returned to the Arsenal midfielder’s midfielder last season, making 52 appearances in all games.
