£50 million ‘very advanced’ people leaving

United underwent some overhaul this summer, with Ruben Amorim splashing cash in his first summer window at Old Trafford.

Less than a week left until the market slams down, the 40-year-old has spent about £200 million – all within the last third of the stadium.

Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha all moved to the Dream Theatre, but none of the stars won their first goal in any of the first two Premier League matches.

Players like Victor Lindelof, Christian Eriksen and Jonny Evans were released early in the summer, freeing up some funds to land the aforementioned trio.

However, further players may be unloaded by Monday’s deadline, with many touting a large amount of big currencies moving away from Amorim’s side.

About Manchester United’s latest potential departure this summer

Kobbie Mainoo became every unused alternative to the club’s two opening league outings, becoming a surprise choice for leaving Manchester United in the coming days.

In recent days, people like Bruno Fernandes, Manuel Ugarte and Casemiro have all liked more than college graduates – doubting his long-term future at Old Trafford.

As a result, the 20-year-old is said to be open by the deadline, with Real Madrid and Chelsea among others monitoring his current situation – and offering him a £45 million transfer fee.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the British are not the only player to be touted to be exported, with Bomb Squad member Alejandro Garnacho getting closer to setting off.

The reporter claimed that the Argentinian’s move to join Chelsea is now “very advanced” after the players rejected a Saudi Arabian proposal – saying he only wants to move to Stamford Bridge.

It is also reported that a £50 million fee has been reached and agreed to future add-ons, with only 21-year-old leaving Amorim’s side with only smaller details left.

Why Manchester United sells £50million star ratings bigger than Mainoo

Over the past few years, Mainoo has experienced some rapid growth, and no supporter can imagine his impact on the first team.

It is undeniable that the Red Devils are already below fan base expectations, but the 20-year-old midfielder is often a shiny light- often popping up at critical moments.

He announced himself to supporters at the last minute strike against Wolves in February 2024, with his efforts reaching a 4-3 victory and a 4-3 victory in the Molineux.

Lyon’s goal in the FA Cup and Europa League further underlines the impact he has made in the first team, and the hierarchy may regret any deal that has taken him out of the dream dance.

But Garnacho’s departure agreement is arguably a bigger blow, losing another top youth prospect that could develop into an elite-level striker.

Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho reacts

The Argentinian made his debut with the Red Devils in April 2022 – continuing to make 150 appearances, looking like the club’s future.

Despite scoring 11 points in all competitions in 2024/25 and 10 assists in all competitions, he played on the Europa League final on the bench – he and the manager contributed to the manager after commenting on social media.

He has since been placed in the bomb squad in Old Trafford, but it turns out that it could be a decision to bite people – especially if he moves to a division opponent.

Last season, Garnacho showed 21 goals in 21 goals contributions, showing the talent he has in the front area, which the Red Devils have already lacked in the sport.

Amorim’s team scored only one goal in the opening two-league outing if the youngster can keep his mission after the summer to help them.

However, it seems he is ready to leave, given his output and gentle age, it is possible that the Blues will explode in the capital.

Admittedly, Amorim wants to stamp the team – but selling young stars like Mainoo and Garnacho can get ugly, especially if they can reach their potential in the coming years.
