Chelsea prepares new bid for Jamie Gittens transfer

Chelsea reportedly hopes to reach a deal on Borussia Dortmund left-wing winger Jamie Gittens to reach a £45 million transfer deal.

The 20-year-old has recently shown his performance in the Bundesliga and Champions League and is an exciting young talent.

According to TalkSport, Chelsea seems ready to make a third bid for Gittens as they hope to close the deal for £45m.

This is starting with David Ornstein of the Sports Report earlier today, saying that Chelsea believes the deal can be completed indefinitely.

What does Chelsea’s move to Jamie Gittens mean to Alejandro Garnacho?

Chelsea seemed to give Gittens a clear preference for the left side of the offense, so that would have an interesting impact on Alejandro Garnacho’s transfer of the legend.

Garnacho was keen to join Chelsea, and also explored deals involving Christopher Nkunku and Christopher Nkunku who moved to Manchester United.

But if Chelsea is preparing for another bid for improvement, that might point him in.

It’s hard to imagine the Blues signing Gittens and Garnacho, but maybe it can’t be ruled out.

Chelsea wants to change their attacks further?

Arguably, Chelsea needs further changes to the wide range of options this summer, with Jadon Sancho leaving, while Mykhailo Mudryk is currently suspended, while others like Joao Felix and Pedro Neto are not that impressive.

It could lead to Chelsea continuing to pursue Gittens and Garnacho, so it’s interesting how this will develop in the days and weeks ahead.

Chelsea certainly isn’t shy about spending a lot under these owners, and Gittens and Garnacho will be the other two exciting young signings for the current and future.
