The third round of the 2025 Tour Championship begins Saturday, August 23 at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. You can find the full Tour Champion serve time in the third round of Saturday at the bottom of this article.
TEE TEE time of round 3
Tommy Fleetwood, famously won the PGA Tour, joked early this week that he won the Tour and FedEx Cup for the first time. But after two rounds of competition in East Lake, no one was joking.
Fleetwood shot in the second round, shooting eight birdies on Friday, including six in the back nine, and shot 63 in a 63-shot low. His sparkling finish put him to 13 years old and saw him running all the way up the rankings, leading the way.
Elsewhere in the course, Rory McIlroy has a steady round to improve to below seven. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler shot two leads at Roud, unable to summon the magic he found in Round 1. Scheffler shot 69 and down 69, returning five with eight points, five.
Rory McIlroy opens birdies at the Tour Championship
Rory McIlroy made birdies on par 4 in the second round of the 2025 Tour Championship.
Fleetwood will share the final pair Saturday with Russell Henley, who shot 66 on Friday to put Fleetwood ahead. They played the third round at 3 pm ET.
