In the opening round at Port Royal, Canadian professional and PGA Tour winner Adam Hadwin won the day’s event. Hadwin shot a 6-under 65 to set the stage for Day One.

Hadwin, who starts the week ranked No. 147 in the FedEx Fall Season standings, will move into the top 100 and secure full Tour eligibility for next season with a win.

There were 15 players on the court Thursday night when first-round play was suspended due to darkness. They will resume play at 7:30 a.m. local time on Friday, with the second round starting as scheduled at 7 a.m. local time.
