T-shirt time for round 2
Although the BMW PGA Championship is arguably the most important game of the DP World Tour season, this year’s game is also an adjustment for the European Ryder Cup team.
Entering Wentworth’s second round, the European team looks in good shape.
In the early stages of the first leg, Matt Fitzpatrick, a member of the European Ryder Cup captain, rose the rankings with a score of 66 under 66.
European compatriots Rory McIlroy, Tyrrell Hatton and Shane Lowry also fell into the red numbers early in the round.
In the second round of Friday, Aberg and Fitzpatrick will kick off with Hideki Matsuyama at 7:45 a.m. ET.
