Here’s the thing: I, and I guess most fans, are very interested in my team and somewhat interested in other parts of baseball.
So if I were to spend a few dollars a month on baseball subs, that would be all for my team, not 1/30 of my team and 29/30 of the other team.
For example, I’m interested in Skubal, Skenes, and Otani, but not Detroit, Pittsburgh, or the Dodgers. And I care about prospect number 25 on my own team
This site is great leading up to the deadline and worth browsing throughout the offseason for (guess what) trade rumors and FA speculation. But for more in-depth content about any club, a dedicated website will always be better, unless you’re that rare animal, a casual fan of the sport who doesn’t follow one team (although I’ve never seen one of those)
So what I want here is free, and what’s behind the paywall I can get better elsewhere. That’s the thing about paid content here – but everyone is free to choose.
