10 open attractions in Portrush, sound, grip and joy

Welcome back to the end of Monday, we still have the same number of people with Scottie Scheffler – But we lost the ground anywhere else. To the news:
10 Open Champions Attractions and Voices
I’m on a direct flight from Dublin to Seattle, a shocking northern route, so I’m currently cruising in some charming, seemingly uninhabitable places in northern Canada, looking for Santa. (I think Nunavut, is that the Qikiqtarjuaq I see outside the window?!) But my mind is trapped in Northern Ireland. Spend a week in Royal Protush, open to witness a small part of history, soaking a piece of history from such a special summer. This weekend I wrote some articles about Su’s, and some articles about Rory about Rory – Now, at the end of this Monday, I’m here with some attractions, sounds, joy, grip and notebooks holding, and then we put this man’s main season before going to bed.
1. Every major should be entered by train.
The town becomes smaller as you drive north from Dublin to the Antrim country. From the airport, the easiest route is the bus to Belfast Grand Central Station, followed by the train to Coleraine, followed by the smaller train to Porthush. Things get greener when you go. The number of cattle increased. Your blood pressure drops. The rhythm of the train is good for the soul, which is even better when you can drive from the train to town. There are many good trains on the open rota. That’s a good thing.
2. It should be possible to access each major through the beach.
It feels like a slightly needed request, but after a week of strolling the access, it’s hard to get used to anything else. Portrush (sunny weather) is a fun and cheerful little beach town full of bars, restaurants, arcades and ice cream parlors. But the real cool thing is its “downtown” way – including the port bar, the center of the social scene you might see on the radio – sticking out into the ocean, a jagged peninsula flanked by wide, flat, hospitality beaches. And, if you cross one of the beaches directly, you happen to be one of the best golf courses in the world. In every open venue, walking from the route to the town means something unique and different. This time the walk was better than most people.
3. Rory McIlroy is not in the bar.
But his name must be. Several times I heard a group of young men breaking in Rory Like his favorite football club, singing outside the bar or walking home. I wrote on Sunday that McIlroy obviously means more to Northern Ireland than any other golfer in their respective family crowds – it feels like strong supporting evidence.
(Side note: Jon Rahm In fact Once was In the bar…)
4. Professionals like Royal depiction.
As far as I know, almost everyone loves Royal Portrush. This is challenging. Beautiful scenery. There are many changes. It plays “fairness”. (Understandingly, more concerned with the last one than the audience.) Golf fans who hoped the Holocaust might be disappointed with the benign weather on the weekend, which led to underscoring. But several different players mentioned it immediately jumped into their top three open venues. (Their consensus: St Andrews, Portrush and the third one for Universal Cards.) There is something to say to add a stop at Portmarnock in Dublin, which is awesome – but I hope the Open will be back here soon too. When they do, I just want a little more.
5. The rake decision caused a sensation.
It’s a ridiculous story that can only happen on a golf course, but it’s also interesting for that reason: Entering the game, R&A changed its policy to make bunkers. Instead of like every tradition, instead of having a designated rake for each group, it was decided to leave the rake for the caddies. I understand some possible explanations: It’s nice to limit the number of people in the ropes, and anyway, is the component of the weekly work of bunker bundy bunker bund and the Caddy? However, given the already slow speed and given the particularly wide teeth of these rakes (yes, that’s true), the process here takes longer than your typical tourist bunker.
In a high-profile event, Tommy Fleetwood Finally ranked fifth on Thursday. And, you really noticed Caddie raink before you do that. On Sunday’s 17th Rory McIlroy At least two minutes after his caddies ended with No. 17 Harry Diamond Perfect his rake work. The caddies and even players I talked to said they wanted to see the rake recovered, which is a great tradition in this game. Of course, they are biased.
6. Gotterup is still ranked No. 1.
The new prince of Linksland, Chris Gotterupwon last week’s Scottish Open and finished third in Portrush. Everything is on the table now – Tour Championship? Ryder Cup? ! — But on Sunday night, he confirmed something important: He doesn’t think Scottie Scheffler is a New Jersey golfer. Schefller was born in Jersey, where he spent the first six years of his life, but his family has been calling Dallas home ever since. That brought him all the way to Dallas, Gotterup said. As a result, GotTerup is a clear top dog at the New Jersey golf course. If he partnered with Bethpage within two months, that should make him a fan favorite.
7. Viktor Hovland is kidding.
Viktor Hovland I went to see the Giant’s Causeway on Saturday night, a breathtaking and exotic set of cliff geological formations. Hofland was as curious as they were. For example, he is likely to be the only tour professional to attend the Shawshank Prison in Ohio. So it’s no surprise that he posted a photo of the Causeway’s weird hexagonal basalt column in Saturday’s Instagram story.

I asked about this visit after Sunday (he answered some questions somewhat frustrated with his T63 after he finished a few questions), and although he clarified that the “Alien” thing was a joke, he illuminated it.
“However, some giants have a lot of knowledge,” he said.
8. HaotongLi lost the game. This is a comeback
In the past few years 大全 The tee was so full of swaying pisses that he considered giving up the game. In short: Very good, he didn’t! Because on Sunday, he played with Scheffler in the final round of the Major’s final round.
Lee admits something interesting on the eve of the battle: he is ready to play freely.
“There’s nothing to lose,” he said. “Especially since two years ago, the swinger Yips couldn’t even pull the trigger. It was a huge step for me.
Lee admitted that he didn’t expect to catch Schaffler from four shots – “Play second, especially play [Scheffler]. I will try to play my best there and hopefully do something.
9. I have two special guests at this week’s Open.
I wanted to write more about this so I won’t go too deep, but only know that my mom and her sister planned an Irish adventure that focused Irish adventures on a pair of porthush tickets on Fridays. My absolute highlight of the week. And more.
10. It was always a bankruptcy, leaving behind a major championship.
I write this professionally, but I can’t believe These guys have done this activity and then go again next week. Of course, the top level game did not open 3m, but was like Gotterup Ms. McNeilly and Sam Burning The title is a pretty deep field chasing valuable perspectives. Not me – I’m back home.
Ryder Cup Watch
Things just started to become very real.
Team USA will face many new problems after Sunday’s PROTHUSH result. yes Harris English The lock after his T2? After finishing third place, is Gotterup a serious contender? Are there any reasonable attention around? Collin Morikawa? Have done it Ben Griffin Early peak? Can JJ Spaun Sliding outside the top six, if so, what is his chance? Does Captain Keegan Bradley need to get the highest score to choose himself? For the moment, it feels like there are five locks: Scheffler, Schauffele, Dechambeau, Henley, Thomas – and a bunch of playoff time that wants to prove that they are worth it.
The European team has not experienced the same level of change, but its core is still rocky. An interesting plot is two twins, Rasmus (No. 7) and Nikola (No. 25) Over the most part of the week and the scramble around them, although they fade slightly to T14 and T16. Harry Hall (No. 24) is another promising professional player who he thinks should be. Matt Fitzpatrick The biggest move, though, is the biggest move – he ranks 13th every day.

Seattle News
Complete headquarters on Monday.
I have no choice but to be excited about re-entering real life. I want to thank Seattle for three times the flight straight to Dublin. This is a trivial matter.
We’ll see you next week!
